Mr. Thomas Harker CPA

As a former Service Secretary, CFO and/or financial executive for the highest profile and largest US government agencies (including the Department of Defense, US Navy, Department of Veteran Affairs and Housing and Urban Development), Mr. Harker managed $720B budgets and one-million-person organizations to design and implement best-in-class finance, accounting and governance strategies. I dedicated my military and civilian career to challenging the “status quo” by driving business process improvement, change management and cultural transformation via business process improvement, employee engagement, training and development and top-down accountability.

Tom Harker served under multiple administrations and was repeatedly recognized for gaining consensus among diverse stakeholders. I have been honored with the Meritorious Service Medal, Commendation Medal and Achievement Medal by the US Coast Guard. I also received the Association of Government Accountants Achievement of the Year Award, Department of Homeland Security and United States Coast Guard CFO Awards and the American Society of Military Comptrollers Distinguished Award for Business Management.

Mr. Harker have partnered with the White House, Congress, executives and other leaders to identify and achieve accounting and governance best practices. By leveraging people, technology and communications, I repeatedly improved operations, influenced change and achieved business objectives on a large scale.
