Mr. Thomas Rieger

Thomas Rieger is the Manager of Digitization Services at the Library of Congress and the head of the Federal Agencies Digital Guidelines Initiative (FADGI) Still Image Working Group. Tom has served in leadership and management positions in industry, non-profit and government spanning the past 45 years. Tom leads the development of new technology for digitization at the Library, and has collaborated with NARA on the digitization specifications for M-19-21. Tom is a past president of the Association of Imaging Executives and member of ISO TC/42 technical committees that develop digitization specifications.
