Mr. Timothy Shea

Mr. Shea is a seasoned healthcare executive and consultant with over 40 years of experience in change management and organizational stewardship. Mr. Shea is one of the Founding Partners of CSS & Associates which is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) focusing on planning, budgeting and change management contracts and projects within the federal sector. Prior to starting CSS & Associates, Mr. Shea managed his own Consulting Firm which assisted with the strategic and business planning at the VHA Facility in Atlanta, Georgia. Provided change management at the organizational level aligning strategic planning at the VHA level and VISN 7 level with the Facility strategic plan and service level business plans. Results included balancing organizational revenues and expenses while improving overall performance on quality and access indicators.

Federal Service –

In 2011 Mr. Shea left the Federal Service as the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 17 Director where he was the Chief Executive overseeing the provision of healthcare services to veterans within the State of Texas for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). Prior to the Mr. Shea held numerous Director rolls across Texas, Arkansas, and Kentucky. Mr. Shea attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha in the class of 1973 with a Masters of Social work in 1975 and a Master of Healthcare Management from Central Michigan University in 1989. Mr. Shea has received numerous awards such as the Carey Award (VA Baldridge Award Criteria): Honorable mention for Central Arkansas VA HCS, Winner for south Texas VA HCS. Mr. Shea is a Service-Disabled Veteran (40%) serving in the USMC (1968-71).
