Tyson Whitney
Director, USDA
Tyson Whitney directs the Transparency and Accountability Reporting Division (TARD) in USDA’s Office of the Chief Financial Officer. His division also manages DATA Act, foreign assistance and disaster funding reporting. He also oversees USDA Federal financial assistance, suspension and debarment, and the prizes/challenges policy. Tyson has been with USDA for 20 years. Prior to USDA, he worked in the private sector and served in the Peace Corps. Tyson lives in Arlington, VA with his family.
