The Common Approach to Identity Assurance (CAIA) service enables federated applications to accept user credentials from external Credential Service Providers (CSP) ID.me, Login.gov, and PIV /CAC. CAIA also provides program areas with a complete entitlement provisioning solution for management of user roles, entitlements, and business entity affiliations, as well as support for recertification of all managed access. CAIA is an enterprise service that standardizes the way users register and log into applications.
