Financial Systems Specialist, Department of Interior Interior Business Center

Mr. Vilesh Salunkhe is the Financial System Analyst at the Department of Interior’s (DOI) Interior Business Center (IBC). As an implementation specialist, he analyzes customer agency requirements, performs fit-gap analysis, completes system configurations and tests, and converts data to successfully onboard new clients to IBC’s Oracle Federal Financial (OFF) platform. He also ensures the OFF solution meets all required federal rules and regulations. He has 16 years of experience working with multiple ERP solutions, including Oracle ERP, Momentum, Comprizon, and Standard Procurement System (SPS) PD2, serving as conversion lead for federal and quasi-federal agencies like Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority (MWAA), Department of Education (DoED), National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Council for Integrity and Efficiency (CIGIE) and others. Vilesh has managed different aspects of data conversions, such as developing the conversion strategy, data cleansing, development, and testing. Vilesh was responsible for pioneering the conversion of procurement data into Oracle ERP's Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) module. Vilesh holds an MS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA from Vanderbilt University. Outside work, he likes to spend time with his family on their hobby farm and ride motorcycles.
