William Morehead PhD, CGFM, CPA

Billy is a Professor of Accountancy and Director of the Graduate Accounting programs at Mississippi College since 2011. Billy repurposed his career in 2011 following 27-years of service with the Mississippi Auditor’s Office, Department of Finance and Administration, Department of Mental Health, and Delta State University where he served as Chair of Accountancy, CIS and Finance, Interim Dean for the College of Business, and Vice President for Finance and Administration. Billy has served AGA in numerous roles in the Jackson Chapter and at AGA national including Chair of the Journal Board and Higher Education Committee, National Treasurer, and National President.
