Zack Simpson

Zachary Simpson is a first year IT Generalist Apprentice for Princeton Plasma Physics Lab. He works on supporting and engaging in the daily responsibilities of the User Services, Systems, Network, and Cyber Security teams. During the first year, Zack has primarily worked with User Services at the Help Desk to gain a background in end user support for the lab's employees, collaborators, students, and visitors. Before joining PPPL, Zack found the apprenticeship opportunity while working at a local restaurant and was interested in applying to learn from a unique place so close to home. He also previously attended college at Rowan College of South Jersey to attend general classes. As part of the apprenticeship, Zack is now completing courses that allow him to excel in networking and IT while gaining first-hand experience.
