Mary Beth Foley is a Program Manager (PM) for the Grants Quality Service Management Office (Grants QSMO) at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of the Assistant Secretary for Financial Resources. As the Grants QSMO PM for Customer Engagement, Governance, and Communications, she leads the Grants QSMO’s efforts to effectively engage and partner with federal awarding agencies through one on one meetings, community and Grants QSMO governing bodies, and an OMB MAX collaboration site dedicated to the federal grants community. Mary Beth has been a member of the HHS ASFR grants team for close to ten years where she supported HHS’s grants systems, internal and government-wide data standardization efforts, and HHS’s implementation of the Digital Accountability and Transparency Act (DATA Act). Prior to joining HHS, Mary Beth worked for the Department of the Navy as a Manpower Programmer on the Chief of Naval Operations’ staff, and on active duty as the Strike Warfare Officer aboard a Guided Missile Destroyer in Norfolk, VA where she deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and the Global War on Terrorism.
