Jaime Saling has worked for the Department of the Treasury for fifteen years. She began her career with Treasury working on the preparation of the Schedules of Federal Debt. During this time the Schedules received fourteen consecutive unqualified audit opinions from GAO. Currently, Jaime is the Director of the Financial and Budget Reports Directorate in Governmentwide Accounting. She is responsible for the preparation of the Financial Report of the U. S. Government with the goal of moving the governmentwide financial statements to a clean audit opinion. GTAS is a valuable tool to resolve several material weaknesses on the FR.
